United Floral has been in business since 1958 when Chester Keller formed it. Mr. Keller sold the business to Raymond Bellrose in 1978. Upon the untimely death of Raymond nine days after purchasing the company, Patte Bellrose Streb took the helm of a business she knew nothing about. With grit, determination, and hard work, she tripled the size of the company.

Patte took a business that supplied flower shops in Canton and Massillon to a business that served florists from Cambridge, Ohio to Cleveland, Ohio, and Ashland, Ohio, to Wellsburg, West Virginia. Fortunately, three of her four sons joined her on this journey. The company operates out of an 18,000-square-foot facility in Jackson Twp. In 2005, Patte retired and turned the business over to two of her sons, Terry and Doug. They ran the business together until Terry retired in 2014.

Doug continues to run the business along with his five employees. United Floral’s strong tie to top broker-growers around the world allows us to offer customers the highest quality, freshest products. Also, United Floral’s commitment to serving our clients and their needs gives us an edge. We can rush orders to our retailers on the same day.
